ACCIDENT.
Saturday 31st May 1986.

FIREMEN cut a driver from the wreckage of his car after a collision with a bus on Saturday.

Mr. Iain MacLeod, of Lennard Road, Penge, suffered head and leg injuries when his Ford Sierra collided with a No. 3 bus in South Croxted Road, Dulwich, near the junction with Alleyn Road.

A doctor who witnessed the accident attended Mr. MacLeod before he was taken to King's College Hospital Camberwell, where his condition is described as "stable."

The bus driver Mr. Melvyn Temperley escaped injury. Two passengers were slightly injured on impact, though neither required hospital treatment. The accident which took place just after 10 a.m. caused damage to the bus which was taken out of service.
