Thursday 10th
August.
Spent the day at Grantown Agricultural Show which was very enjoyable.
These are the images that will give you a flavour of the event.
Here I arrived at the green field where all the main events
will be enacted throughout the afternoon and evening.
The show started with a parade of floats.
Here
is Norman taking time out from running the Coppice hotel.
The
theme of the floats was nursery rhymes and this is Sing a Song of
Sixpence
There
was an old woman who lived in a shoe.

Norman the proprietor of the Coppice hotel who was on one of the floats
was a real comic, one of the most amusing characters there. I took many
photographs during the course of the afternoon.
